Hans Jensen Lubricators A/S - 100 years

Press release: 2 x 25.000 Danish kroner awarded to two students from Northern Jutland

The newly established Hans Jensen Lubricators 100 year scholarship was awarded at the 100 year reception event to two students from Hadsund and Aalborg in Denmark.

– Anne Sophie Meyer Larsen and Maria Støttrup Schiønning Larsen, each received 25.000 danish kroner to finance their studies abroad.  

The Hans Jensen Lubricators 100 year anniversary scholarship was award to the two students by the mayor of Mariagerfjord, Mogens Jespersen – The two portions of the scholarship were awarded to one with a relationship to Hadsund and one to an engineering student.
Maria Støttrup Schi’nning Larsens is studying production engineering at Aalborg University and is currently on her 9th semester and on a student exchange stay at Daimler in Germany as an intern in their research department for production in Stuttgart.
Anne Sophie Meyer Larsen is studying Film and Media at Aarhus University and grew up in Hadsund. Anne Sophie is currently on a student exchange stay at The University of Melbourne in Australia.

The two recipients of the scholarship were chosen for their diligent efforts in both their fields and for their expectation of even greater advancement. Anne Sophie is studying 4 subjects on her exchange stay with a specific purpose of bettering her English proficiency with the end goal of becoming a high school teacher. She is ambitious and has obtained good results while also participating in volunteer work.
Maria has at an age of just 25 years already obtained two bachelor degrees and aims to combine these while studying for her masters, specializing in Flexible Manufacturing which Aalborg University is among the leaders of.

The Hans Jensen Lubricators 100 year anniversary scholarship was established in connection with the company’s 100 year anniversary since the founder, Hans Peter Jensen started the company. This scholarship is therefore appointed as a tribute.
